CMTech is a research group belonging to the DTIC (Comunication and Information Technologies) department at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (placed at Barcelona).

The group combines the research publications with the development of different projects focused on the exploration of the possibilities of different sensors. To the interest on traditional sensors, audio and rgb video, we can add the research using advanced sensors: Infra Red (thermal) images, Ladar (Laser Detection and Ranging) and Milimetric Waves.

CAIAC is a center of the TECNIO’s network from Generalitat of Catalonia. The brand which CAIAC is currently working is CEPHIS.

There is a long trip between the ideas and the realization of an electronic product. Our research group is focused on technology transfer to industry. Our team consists of people with a solid theoretical basis and the experience in the industrial world.
